Marianne is a pretty, refined, elegant, coqueta French, something liberal for its time and touches the violin very well. When being orphan is gathered by relatives who Joaquin Sources War has in that country. Thinking that nobody of that family would have contact with him already, she travels looking for to put itself under the shelter of the rich landowner, being pretended to be his direct niece, Marie of the Roquette. Under that personality she arrives at Trinidad city and one finds out that Joaquin died leaving his fortune to Manuel. This one offers support him and it provides with accomodations it in his house but Marianne, to seize of its money, accuses it of imposter. With the support of Ramon Márquez, of which one becomes loving, it obtains it.
